A dish full of vegetables, meat and a sweet hint of cheese that will provide you with vitamins, fiber, and carotenoids, which provide antioxidants and prevent some forms of cancer and heart disease. Why not have fun with this nutritious plate? I added flavorful slices of fresh mozzarella and a colorful vodka sauce to mix things up. If you’re going to eat this good, I think it’s okay to be a little naughty this season!
What You’ll Need:
1 lb. Ground Turkey Meat
1/4 of a Red Onion
1 Green Pepper
1 Bundle of Asparagus
2 Garlic Cloves
1 lb. Spaghetti
Here’s What You Do and How You Do It:
Boil the spaghetti.
Cut up your veggies and please, I beg you, wash your veggies. Throw the slices of asparagus, peppers, onions and mince garlic into a large sauce pan. I like to caramelize my veggies in coconut oil with brown sugar because it’s healthy and gives such a wonderfully sweet taste to your dish!
Your spaghetti and veggies will be done around the same time.
Pull your Basil apart and mix it into the pound of ground turkey. Now cook it in the large sauce pan that you caramelized your veggies in. It will capture all the tastes in your dish.
Mix everything together. Top it off with slices of fresh mozzarella and Ba-da-bing Ba-da-boom you have a real tastey, healthy dinner to serve 3-5 people (depending on how many brothers you have).
